Who we are, what we do, and where do we meet

Who we are and what do we do?
We are a Manitoba Association of Automobile Clubs (MAAC) registered group of like minded Jeep enthusiasts who enjoy spending time turning wrenches, telling stories, and most of all exploring some of the most beautiful terrain Manitoba has to offer. We organize exciting family oriented monthly off-road trips and overnight camping weekends. We pride ourselves in observing "tread lightly" principles so that Manitoba will remain a 4x4 friendly province.
When and where do we meet?
Meetings are on the first Wednesday of each month at Jeffery's Restaurant (1420 Henderson Hwy, Winnipeg) at 7:30 PM (unless otherwise posted on Facebook and perhaps the forum). Many members show up earlier to have supper and/or talk Jeep. The meetings review club business, like when our next planned trail run will be, and tend to wrap up by 8:00 PM at which time we usually end up back in the parking lot to check out the latest additions or modifications.
Membership costs only $25 a year, due in April, and provides you access to the members sections of the forum, club events, and keeps you informed of the next closed run. A closed run is typically a Jeep trail ride for members only. They tend to frequent more challenging areas and often have more minimum requirements than open runs. The open runs are open to all and are intended to build up both confidence and ability in newer drivers while giving more experienced members the chance to share their knowledge. Open runs are posted in the General forums visible to all, while close run details are in a restricted to paid members area of this website.
