Hello everyone,
I am a new owner of a Jeep, but...it is not a Wrangler. It is just a 2014 Compass 4X4, with a tiny 2.4L engine.
Never did any off load, but I would really love to.
Never being in any car club, but I would really love to.
My first question is .... Is a Compass can be considered as "One of Us"?
Thanks

Ok I want to be the first to say there is no specific vehicle to be one of us. We are a jeep club, we have jks, tjs, ljs, yjs, cjs, wj, zj, wk, to make the list short we got a whole bunch of different jeeps and it's about time that we have someone with a compass decide to join are ranks.
I guess what I'm trying to say is...
If it's got four wheels and you can wheel it then your one of us.

I do a happy dance in my head whenever a non-Wrangler joins the group. Probably because I came from a unibody Jeep, miss it immensely, and there are too many late model Wranglers (JK) on runs... me being one of them
You will be very impressed with your vehicle, in stock form, and we do go on runs that are both friendly to new drivers riding in pretty much anything on wheels. Even our rule in the charter which states you must own a Jeep has been relaxed at times for those between vehicles for a year or more. On the flip side, there are members who have Jeeps that technically have only a hand full of Jeep parts left if that!
If there is a run you would like to go on as a passenger to meet some members, and see what it is like or go to more technical areas, just let us know. We have one on the 26th that you may like experiencing from shotgun. I know mine, plus 2 in the back, is open.
Hope this addresses some of your concerns.

Thanks everyone for the replies.
The 26th is right in the middle of my vacation, sorry can't make it.
What is the next good day for me to experience?
Looks like Aug 6th is a meeting day.
Thanks

Welcome, there are several of us that meet on Portage Ave for Sunday night cruise ( weather permitting). If you can't make it to a meeting feel free to stop by and meet our merry band of misfits.
We usually hang out at the parking lot next to the Palomino Club on the North side of Portage, just look for all the Jeeps. Come by around 8pm, that's when the majority arrive.
